Happy Vacation

Going to Tagaytay to see the famous Mount and Lake Taal was kinda tricky for us who had no idea how to get there. From Makati, we planned to go visit our friend in Cavite, believing that she could take us to the place in no time. Turns out, she too was lost in the process of finding the right route to get us to Tagaytay from Cavite.

We commuted for like 2 hours just to get to the place, riding 4 or 5 jeepneys and 2 buses in the process. We knew that there was a direct bus route from Pasay to Tagaytay but since we were in Cavite, the option to go back to Pasay was never considered. So we chose the shorter path, which turned out to be longer than we expected.

At last, before sunset, we arrived at the place and took a couple of pictures of the famous smallest mountain of the country. We were able to take good shots though before the sun went down. Well, two more shots below, with my friends faces in them. Well, this is the punishment for them not being on top of the trip to Tagaytay. Haha. Publicity!

Last summer, we went to Puerto Galera with two of my closest friends. We really wanted to bathe in the sun and get a tan so we decided to go to Puerto Galera in Mindoro Oriental to have a great summer time.

We were in Pasay City so we decided to go to the bus terminal and rode a bus for Batangas. It was an almost 2-hour travel and we paid like 170 Php for the trip. I think as part of the tourism thrusts of the province, buses are intended to drop passengers to the pier, ready for a ferry ride to Mindoro Oriental.

Last December, my friends and I went to the Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village. We just wanted to have a great time - to relax and all that. I was leaving for Davao that week so it would be best to visit some good places in Cagayan de Oro before I leave.

I went to Cebu City twice already but these are the only pics I manage to salvage from the hundreds that we took. Anyway, Cebu is definitely the Queen City of the South. There are lots of historical places we visited in our trip.

Macahambus Adventure Park is a popular tourist destination in Cagayan de Oro City. Me and my friends went there sometime in 2006 to visit the place and have some fun at the same time. The park has a gorge wherein you are supposed to climb up and down this 100-step staircase. It was actually very exhausting but the view of the gorge somehow encourages you to proceed.
